I'm a former Microsoft Executive now serving as a Non-Executive Director for HSBC Holdings PLC, Forrit, and the Software Acquisition Group. I'm also an advisor to the 5G Open Innovation Labs, Tensility Venture Partners and the UC Davis Physics Department.
As a Corporate Vice President at Microsoft I held leadership positions in a broad range of key business areas. This includes close to a decade helping manage Microsoft’s hardware and software ecosystems as the head of the Developer & ISV Evangelism (DPE/DX) and OEM divisions. I also spent my last 3 years working with customer and partners on the adoption of Artificial Intelligence and helping ISV's migrate to SaaS based offerings built on the Dynamics, Power Platform, Office and Azure Cloud platforms. Over my 26+ years I worked on a variety of product teams including; Windows, Internet Explorer, MSN, SQL Server, Visual Studio and more, and across several customer and audience segments including the Small Business, Consumer, Developer, and Enterprise Segments.
Before coming to Microsoft, I worked at Spectra-Physics Lasers, where I worked directly with customers on one of a kind solutions and helped develop and market new products.
I received a bachelor’s degree in applied physics from the University of California, Davis, and a master’s degree in engineering management from Stanford University. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching rugby, playing golf and cheering on the Seattle Seahawks & Seawolves.
